Real estate has always felt like something I was meant to do. Long before I became an agent, I was drawn to the idea of helping people find a place to call home. I almost got into the business at 18 years old because something about handing someone the keys to their future just stuck with me — even back then.
Life took me on a different path first.
Before real estate, I spent years doing door-to-door sales selling Kirby vacuums. It was humbling work, but it taught me how to connect with people, communicate clearly, and genuinely listen. After that, I built a career with the State of California, spending seven years in corrections, including five years on the SWAT team. Those experiences shaped me in ways I still rely on today — staying calm under pressure, reading situations quickly, problem solving, and helping people navigate stressful moments with confidence.
Eventually, that original pull toward real estate came back stronger than ever, and I knew it was time to make the leap.
Now, with over 10 years in real estate and specializing in the Southern Oregon Coast market, I proudly serve clients throughout Brookings, Harbor, Gold Beach, Medford, and the greater Rogue Valley. I specialize in both coastal and inland markets, giving my clients the advantage of local expertise across a unique dual-market service area. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to grow my experience through respected brokerages like RE/MAX and Keller Williams, while becoming a trusted Curry County specialist.
What I love most about real estate is helping people through some of the biggest moments of their lives. Whether I’m working with a first-time buyer, helping a family through a major transition, or guiding an investor through a strategic purchase, my goal is always the same: make the process feel smooth, supported, and stress-free.
A lot of that mindset comes from my own first experience buying a home. I was 26 years old and honestly had no idea what I was doing. Fortunately, I had a great Realtor who guided me through every step and made the process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. Looking back, that experience showed me how important a good agent really is — and it inspired the kind of Realtor I wanted to become for others.
My approach with clients is straightforward: high communication, no pressure, and a focus on protecting your best interests. I want my clients to feel informed and confident without feeling overwhelmed. For first-time buyers and sellers, I handle as much as possible behind the scenes so they can enjoy the process instead of stressing over it. For investors, I take a more analytical approach, helping break down ROI and long-term value so every decision makes sense strategically.
Outside of real estate, I’m a family man first. My wife and four kids keep life busy in the best possible way. Most of my free time is spent at sports practices, games, church events, hiking, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors together. I also love collecting and investing in sports cards, and I’m a die-hard University of Michigan Wolverines fan.
Giving back to the community is also a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve served on multiple city and county boards, coached youth sports, volunteered at church, and stepped in wherever I can to help local kids and families succeed. I truly believe in investing in the community that has given so much to my family.
For me, real estate has never just been about transactions. It’s about relationships, trust, and helping people create a life they love in a place they’re proud to call home.
